Newport-Mesa Unified is unusual in serving two cities with markedly different program sizes. Newport Harbor and Corona del Mar sit alongside Costa Mesa and Estancia under one administration, and a policy written with one in mind applies to all four.
That produces a specific problem for clubs at the smaller campuses: advice circulating in the district is often shaped by what works at a school with a much larger booster base. A bulk order that a large program can absorb is a real risk for a smaller one, because the club that most needs the money is also the one least able to eat unsold stock.
