Spirit wear fundraising in Cerritos
Team store fundraising for Cerritos booster clubs. ABC Unified crosses several cities, which changes who a club asks for approval.
The thing worth knowing about Cerritos is that its district is not a Cerritos district. ABC Unified takes its name from Artesia, Bloomfield and Carmenita and reaches across several cities, which means a booster club here shares an approval process, and a set of policies, with clubs whose schools are not in Cerritos at all.
In practice that cuts both ways. The process is well worn, because the district handles these requests from more schools than a single-city district would. But a club that asks its own campus office and stops there will get an answer that is not the district's, and the district's is the one that governs the marks.
Cerritos also has an unusually mixed set of school identities for a city this size — a comprehensive campus, a large athletic program and a selective magnet each draw a different community, and a range built for one of them will not sell to the other two. That matters more here than the population figure does.
Districts serving Cerritos
Any use of a school name, logo or mascot is the district’s to license, so the first step is knowing which office owns the mark you want to print.
- ABC Unified School District. Named for Artesia, Bloomfield and Carmenita and serving several cities beyond Cerritos, so policy comes from a district office rather than from the campus.

What we handle, and what you do
1. You send colors, marks and rosters
Along with written confirmation from the district that the club may use the school name and logo. That is the entire job on your side.
2. We build and you approve
We design the range and the storefront. The range you approve is the range that sells for the rest of the season, so this is the point to be fussy.
3. We print, ship and support
Each order is produced after it is bought and shipped direct to that buyer. No sorting, no distribution day, no leftover sizes.
4. We promote it
Text and email campaigns to your opted-in families, timed to season launch, playoffs, senior night and the winter holidays.
5. You get paid
Up to 20% of total order value, remitted on a set schedule, with reporting your treasurer can reconcile.
Questions from Cerritos clubs
- Which office approves the logo for a Cerritos school?
- ABC Unified. Because the district spans several cities, the campus office is not the last word on the marks and a club that stops there can end up redoing artwork.
- Artesia High is in our district. Is it a Cerritos school?
- No. Artesia High School sits in Lakewood despite being part of ABC Unified. Districts and city boundaries do not line up here, which is worth checking before anyone says which city a store is for.
- Do magnet and comprehensive schools need different stores?
- Usually yes. The communities barely overlap and the items that sell differ, so one combined range tends to underperform for both.
