Spirit wear fundraising for San Juan Capistrano schools
Spirit wear fundraising for San Juan Capistrano booster clubs. We build and run the store, print and ship every order, and remit 20% of order value.
San Juan Capistrano is among the oldest communities in California, and San Juan Hills High is one of the newer high schools in Capistrano Unified. That combination is worth thinking about when a range is designed: the town has deep historical identity while the school's own traditions are still being established.
In practice that means fewer fixed expectations about what the gear should look like, and correspondingly more room to build something families actually want rather than reproducing a design that has been in use for forty years. Newer schools tend to get better results from asking what people would wear than from replicating a legacy look.
The trade-off is a smaller alumni base than the older schools in the same district, so buyers skew toward current families. That points at a tighter range: a concentrated set of buyers spread across too many products produces no volume on any of them.

What we handle, and what you do
1. You send colors, marks and rosters
Along with written confirmation from the district that the club may use the school name and logo. That is the entire job on your side.
2. We build and you approve
We design the range and the storefront. The range you approve is the range that sells for the rest of the season, so this is the point to be fussy.
3. We print, ship and support
Each order is produced after it is bought and shipped direct to that buyer. No sorting, no distribution day, no leftover sizes.
4. We promote it
Text and email campaigns to your opted-in families, timed to season launch, playoffs, senior night and the winter holidays.
5. You get paid
20% of total order value, remitted on a set schedule. A share of what the store sells, not a share of margin after costs.
Questions from San Juan Capistrano clubs
- Our school is newer than the town. Does that affect the range?
- It gives you more freedom. Without decades of fixed expectations you can design what families would actually wear, rather than reproducing a legacy mark. Keep the range tight, because the alumni base is still small.
- Who approves the design?
- Capistrano Unified, in writing, naming the club and the specific marks. Get that before design work starts rather than after.
